A Prayer for the Work of the Parish General Assembly
OLord Jesus Christ our God, the creator and author of the human race, the One who grants us every grace and bestows upon us salvation and eternal life: fill our minds and hearts with Your Holy Spirit! Grant us the fruit of living in Your Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, generosity, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Guide our deliberations thisevening that we as a parish might discern and do Your will in all things, worshipping and praising Your most holy and glorious name by our every word and action.
For You are the One crucified and risen for our salvation and to You do we offer up glory, together with Your eternal Father and Your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages. AMEN!
